Welcome to Oasis Centro Cristiano (OCC)!

We are “the church where no one is a stranger.” Thank you for visiting this page.

As the Pastor of this ministry, I would like to extend a warm welcome and invitation to visit our church…..your church.  We are located in the middle of a Latino community that we are currently serving.  I know that sometimes it can be difficult to arrive at a place where you may not know many people, but I would like to assure you that we will every effort to make sure you feel at home.  So go ahead and feel welcomed!  We will be very happy to see you and look forward to getting to know you a little better.  We would like to be able to serve you in the best way possible.  So come!  We are waiting for you!

Our Services

Praise and worship is an important tool that helps us draw near to God. As Latinos we believe in worshiping God with all the “flavors” of our music and culture.  That is why we worship celebrating with the diversity of our music that touches the hearts and helps us enter into God’s presence.

Giving with gratitude is the best way to give.  As our guest we don’t want you to feel pressured to give.  We give our offerings to God because we are very grateful for all that He does for us.  In every service we have the opportunity to worship God through our offerings and tithes.  This is a chance for our congregation to worship God through our giving because He has given us so much.  Everything that is given in the offering is used by OCC to continue to take the love of Christ to our community and the world.

Our sermons are based on the Holy Bible.  We believe that the Bible is the manual for living a purposeful life full of value on a daily basis.  Our sincere desire is that through sermons, teachings, and biblical discussions you may get to know God better and develop a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ through his love, mercy, and grace.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday service of every month.  Together we take the juice and bread to remember the great sacrifice made by Jesus for our forgiveness of sins.  We believe in an open communion format.  In other words, if you have received the Lord Jesus as your personal savior, then you may join in with us in this time of reflection.  With this in mind all are welcomed to participate.

Teaching and discipleship are a very important part of every Christian’s growth and development.  We have Sunday morning classes where the Word of God is presented in a practical way for every day living.  We offer something for all ages. In this way an entire family can enjoy God’s Word at their level of understanding.  Just simply let us know how we can serve you.

The end of our service, we get together to get to get to know each other and create new bonds and friendships so that our lives may be enriched.  Many times we will serve coffee and sweets and other delights to stimulate conversation.  In the middle of this social setting we have seen new bonds created that last a lifetime.

Our marriage ministry is available to all those who desire to strengthen their marriages and have the best experiences with your spouse.

We get together in various settings to discuss and learn more about our spouses, our marriages, and how to remain “in love” with spouses in the ways that God desires for our marriages.  During your visit, stop by the welcome center for more information.

Mission Oasis is our way of  “going out into all the world…”

We have short term missions trips to various countries that enable us to share the Gospel with the world. We also have various opportunities to serve in our community.  Our hope is that everyone has the opportunity to know that God loves them and that they are important to Him.
